Hi, This is Kelly Qin who is a product designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area that thrives on delivering a delightful and intuitive experience to the users.

Back in 2017, I achieved my bachelor degree in marketing from Kansas State University. Since I've always been interested in product design and user experience design, I moved to San Francisco after I graduated. I applied for my master degree in Web Design and New Media at Academy of Art University. The courses that I mainly focused on is user experience design of Website and Mobile Apps. I have learned the basic courses of web front-end programming, web design, wireframes, task flow, user research, and user experience. After that, I learned visual interface design, motion graphic design, and how to make a product promotional video, etc. Finally, I achieved my master degree in Web Design & New Media from Academy of Art University in 2020. I work at Remote Roofing as a web UX/UI designer. My role in this position is to re-design the website and improve user experience.

From the past, I have been working on several projects. I created the Recurrent AI company's website and it launched in April 2019. I created the enterprise software deal tape voice recognition, manger system UX/UI. I helped the team create a product promotion video for marketing campaign raised $3 million Series-B funding. Some school projects I did so far are IKEA app redesign, Flyma travel app design, The sea by alexander's steakhouse restaurant re-branding/iPad menu/website design, Pet Sweet Home mobile/web design, Corgi planet website design, Street Wagon mobile app design, Movie In Theater website design.

My strengths are visual UI design, conceptual thinking, wireframes/prototype(Figma, inVision), UX research, conducting user research online using usertesting.com or in-person. I am also good at motion graphic design, front-end coding using HTML, CSS, JS.

I love the process of creating products and solving users' problems. Creating human connections and emotional responses through beautiful and intuitive design is what drives my work. I have a solid understanding of how the user-centered design process drives design thinking and implementation. Last but not least, I pay attention to detail and always push pixel perfect design. I think these qualities will make me successful in this role.
